Details for the Safety Manager:
- Schedule: Monday-Friday 1ST Shift
- Pay Rate: Up to $95,000 annually (based on experience)
- Direct hire position (not contracted)
- Full benefits, 401K, and competitive PTO package
Job Responsibilities & Description for the Safety Manager:
- Plan, implement, manage, and train on safety procedures including safety protocols, accident prevention, emergency response procedures, and proper use of PPE
- Conduct routine safety audits, inspections, and conduct meetings to evaluate concerns, identify corrective actions, and follow up to ensure compliance
- Ensure company practices are in alignment with federal, state, local, and OSHA requirements
- Routinely inspect construction sites to ensure safe practices to minimize risk
- Investigate safety issues as well as accidents to identify root causes and plan corrective measures to mitigate future incidents
- Maintain accurate records including logs, reports, correspondences, incidents, and training
Job Requirements for the Safety Manager:
- Must have 3+ years of experience as a dedicated safety manager
- 5+ years of experience in the construction industry preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety preferred- or related equivalent experience
- Industrial Health Certification preferred
