Position Details:
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm
- Pay Rate: $18-22/hr (based on experience)
- Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire
Responsibilities:
- Submit and process medical claims across systems efficiently.
- Handle billing collections and manage follow-ups on outstanding accounts.
- Resolve insurance denials and address underpayments promptly.
- Verify health insurance benefits and ensure claims accuracy.
- Maintain accurate documentation and complete data entry efficiently.
Requirements:
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year in healthcare billing.
- Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with EMR systems (Epic, Navinet) is a plus.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with CPT and ICD-10 codes is advantageous.
