Our office is partnered with a company in Phillipsburg, NJ to help find a Welder/ Fabricator for their shop!
Schedule: Mon - Fri 5:30 - 6:30am to 2:30- 3:30pm flexible start / end time
Pay: depends on experience $25-$33/ hr
Welder/ Fabricator Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret fabrication and machining blueprints
- Measure and lay out materials accurately
- Fit and fabricate structural steel and plate components
- Perform welding using SMAW and FCAW processes
- Operate fabrication equipment such as press brakes, plate rolls, saws, CNC burning tables, and oxy-fuel/plasma cutting equipment
- Maintain quality standards and ensure work meets specifications
Welder/ Fabricator Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of fabrication and fitting experience
- Strong blueprint reading and measuring skills
- Experience with welding and metal fabrication equipment
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new skills
- Forklift, overhead crane, CAD, or ProNest experience is a plus
