Are you experienced in packaging procurement, purchasing, or vendor management? We're seeking a detail-oriented Packaging Procurement Specialist to support a growing manufacturing operation by ensuring packaging materials are sourced, ordered, and delivered on time.
What You'll Do
Manage purchasing and procurement of packaging materials
Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely deliveries
Monitor inventory levels and prevent material shortages
Negotiate pricing and purchasing terms when appropriate
Track packaging specifications, artwork, and supplier documentation
Work closely with production and warehouse teams to support operations
Use Excel and ERP/MRP systems to forecast and manage material needs
What We're Looking For
Experience with packaging procurement, purchasing, or sourcing
Vendor management and supplier communication experience
Experience with flexible packaging, pouches, bags, labels, or printed packaging
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Excel proficiency and comfort working with inventory data
Experience with packaging artwork, proofs, or specifications is highly preferred
