Manual Machinist Job Details:
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 2pm - 11pm (Training Monday - Friday, 10am - 6pm)
Pay Rate: $20 - $25 p/hour

Manual Machinist Job Description:
- Set up and operate large manual lathes to manufacture parts according to blueprint specifications
- Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and production instructions
- Perform accurate measurements using precision inspection tools, including calipers, micrometers, verniers, and measuring tapes
- Machine parts to required tolerances and quality standards
- Change tooling and complete machine setups independently
- Conduct in-process inspections and complete first article inspection documentation
- Safely operate lifting devices and material handling equipment
- Move and stage materials as needed and become certified to operate a forklift
- Complete daily machine maintenance and equipment checks
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Manual Machinist Job Requirements:
- Experience operating manual lathes in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring instruments
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- High School Diploma or Trade School Certification
