Details
- 1st Shift: Monday-Friday, 6:00am-2:30pm
- 3rd Shift: Monday-Thursday, 7:00pm-5:30am (four 10-hour shifts)
- Direct hire opportunity from day one.
- High School Diploma/GED not required.
- No drug screening required.
- Background check conducted, but no sex offense convictions accepted.
Responsibilities
- Perform MIG welding on mild steel and carbon steel components used in custom fabrication and enclosure manufacturing.
- Occasionally perform TIG and stick welding on stainless steel and aluminum materials.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, specifications, and work instructions to complete welds to customer requirements.
- Set up welding equipment, fixtures, and components according to project specifications.
- Inspect finished welds for quality, bead size, structural integrity, and compliance with specifications.
- Grind, sand, and finish welds as necessary to meet appearance and quality standards.
- Maintain equipment and work areas in a safe and organized condition.
Requirements
- MIG welding experience is required.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings.
- Experience welding steel structures, enclosures, or sheet metal components preferred.
- Ability to inspect welds and identify defects or quality issues.
- Experience with grinders, sanders, and fabrication tools.
- Must be dependable, safety-conscious, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
