Customer Service Representative
Location: Camden, NJ
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
Pay Rate: $20 - $25 per hour
Status: Direct Hire
Job Description:
Primary Responsibility:
- Professionally handle incoming customer requests, ensuring prompt and thorough resolution of issues.
- Efficiently gather customer information, fulfill their needs, and educate them to prevent future issues, while documenting interactions accurately.
- Provide quality service and support in various areas, always prioritizing the best interest of both the customer and the company.
- Accurately enter customer orders and continuously evaluate opportunities for process improvements to enhance the customer experience.
- Compile and generate reports related to customer service surveys.
Secondary Responsibility:
- Assist the sales team, managers, and co-workers with customer-related inquiries.
- Handle inside sales tasks, including account management, follow-up calls to customers, and contacting inactive accounts.
- Organize and electronically file all customer-related documents.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
Qualifications and Education:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 1-year relevant work experience.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
- Strong work ethic, well-organized, and a self-starter.
- Detail-oriented with a professional attitude and reliability.
- Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Excel and Word. MAS 90/Sage 100 experience is a plus.
