Job Details for Employment Specialist:
- Schedule: Full-Time, Mon-Fri 8AM-5PM
- Pay Rate: $20-22/hr, negotiable based on experience

Job Responsibilities & Description for Employment Specialist:
- Assist with job search development, placement, and retention.
- Monitor work placements and community activities.
- Make referrals for supportive services (e.g., childcare, transportation).
- Conduct assessments to determine employability and develop action plans.
- Provide career counseling and update employability plans.
- Handle appeals, vouchers, and maintain case records.
- Participate in committees, training, and public relations activities.
Job Requirements for Employment Specialist:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Counseling and Guidance, Human Services, Social Work or a related field required.
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
- 2-4 years of related experience.
- A Virginia Certified Workforce Development Professional Certification is preferred.
