Package Handler
Location: Avenel, NJ
Pay Rate:
- 1st Shift: $19.00/hour
- 2nd Shift: $19.50/hour
- 3rd Shift: $19.50/hour
Available Shifts:
- 1st Shift: 5:00 AM - 2:30 PM
- 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM
- 3rd Shift: 5:00 PM - 3:30 AM
Position Summary
We are seeking reliable and hardworking Package Handlers to join our team. The Package Handler is responsible for loading, unloading, sorting, and moving packages in a fast-paced warehouse environment while maintaining safety and productivity standards.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload packages from trucks and trailers.
- Sort packages according to delivery routes and designated locations.
- Scan and track packages using handheld scanners and warehouse systems.
- Move packages within the facility using carts, pallet jacks, or other equipment as needed.
- Inspect packages for damage and report discrepancies.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow company safety policies and procedures at all times.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand, bend, walk, and lift throughout the shift.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable transportation and excellent attendance.
- Prior warehouse or package handling experience is preferred but not required.
