About the Role
We're seeking a hands-on, customer-focused technician to support the delivery, installation, troubleshooting, and service of premium lighting, lighting control, and motorized shade systems. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, problem-solving, and working directly with customers.
What You'll Do
- Deliver products and equipment safely and professionally
- Troubleshoot and diagnose lighting, control, and shade systems in the field
- Perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs
- Assist with installation and setup of motorized shade systems
- Provide on-site technical support and customer training
- Maintain detailed service records and project documentation
- Manage inventory of tools, parts, and equipment
- Maintain company vehicles and follow all safety procedures
- Participate in ongoing training and product education
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities
- Ability to lift and move materials and work in various environments
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Professional, dependable, and detail-oriented
Preferred Experience
- Service Technician, Delivery Driver, Field Technician, Electrical Technician, or similar experience
- White-glove delivery experience
- Experience diagnosing and repairing electronic or mechanical systems
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems, lighting controls, or residential construction
- Experience performing minor electrical repairs
- Technical certifications or vocational training are a plus
