Our office is currently partnered with a leading company in Allentown, PA in their search for a Lead Maintenance Mechanic
Material Handler Job Details:
Schedule: Mon–Fri, 6AM–2:30 PM
Pay Rate: $23-25/hr
Job Type: Full-Time, Temp-to-Hire
Location: Easton, PA
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up metal stamping presses to produce parts to print
- Inspect work pieces to verify conformance to specifications using rulers, templates, micrometers, gauges, calipers, or other measuring instruments to meet customer’s specifications.
Perform minor machine maintenance, such as oiling or cleaning machines or work areas
Read blueprints or work orders to determine product specifications, material to be used, and tooling instructions and to plan operational sequences.
Test and adjust machine speeds or actions, according to product specifications, using gauges and hand tools.
Record operational data such as dimensional readings, lengths or frequency of strokes, feed rates, and speeds.
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of machines and tools, including repair and maintenance
- Not limited to usage of Bruderers and Minsters- Spot welding, lathe operation, soldering
- Ability to perform preventative maintenance and repairs
- Good hand-eye coordination and ability to make precise adjustments
- Basic math skills, including fractions and decimals
- Physically fit for unrestricted movement (stand, bend, lift, squat, twist, reach, push, pull)
