QC Technician Details:
- Schedule: Monday-Friday 6 am-2 pm
- Pay: Starting Rate $18-$24/hr
- Job Type: Full-Time, Temp-to-Hire
- Location: Easton, PA
QC Technician Responsibilities:
- Conduct inspections and testing of raw materials (chemicals), bulk products, and finished goods according to established specifications.
- Perform physical, chemical, and sensory evaluations, including pH, viscosity, specific gravity, appearance, odor, and fill-weight checks.
- Collect and analyze samples from production batches and document test results accurately.
- Monitor manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with quality standards, GMPs, SOPs, and regulatory requirements.
- Identify non-conforming materials or products and communicate findings to supervisors and production personnel.
- Issue batch sheets
- Approve batches, close batch sheets, and files for accuracy and completeness.
- Support internal audits and regulatory inspections as required.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory and production environment.
QC Technician Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Chemistry, Biology, Quality Assurance, or related field preferred.
- 1–3 years of quality control experience in personal care, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, consumer goods, or related manufacturing environments.
- Knowledge of GMPs, FDA regulations, ISO standards, and quality systems preferred.
- Experience using laboratory testing equipment and quality inspection tools.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and documentation practices.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality management software.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
