Material Handler Job Details
- Schedule: Monday – Friday | 6:45AM-3PM
- Pay Rate: $20.50/hour
- Contract-to-Hire opportunity
Material Handler Responsibilities
- Form, label, tape cartons or boxes, and pack finished rolls into correct packaging
- Rework returned materials with labeling or packaging issues and correct operator errors
- Monitor material quality and notify operators of issues as needed
- Operate a forklift safely to move and stage materials
- Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow company policies and safety standards
- Record production data accurately and support team operations through training and collaboration
- Participate in safety programs, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives\
Material Handler Requirements
- Previous manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred
- Forklift operating experience required
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for long periods
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written instructions
- High school diploma or GED
