What You'll Do as a Terminal Manager
- Oversee terminal operations, equipment, and property while ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant performance
- Lead hiring, training, coaching, and performance management for terminal employees
- Manage safety initiatives, conduct monthly safety meetings, and ensure compliance with DOT regulations and company standards
- Build strong relationships with customers, loading facilities, drivers, and internal departments to deliver exceptional service
- Monitor maintenance programs, driver hours, payroll documentation, repair orders, and terminal performance metrics
What We're Looking For in a Terminal Manager
- Minimum of 2 years in transportation, logistics, terminal operations, or a related industry
- Strong leadership, team management, and employee development skills
- Knowledge of DOT regulations, safety programs, and operational best practices
- Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities
