TITLE: Production Worker
PAY: $17/hour
LOCATION: Swedesboro, NJ
JOB SUMMARY
Under the direction of a Shift Supervisor, performs the stripping of packaging from raw materials, properly prepares and handles material for melting processes, and maintains a clean work area during and between shifts.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Strips plastic and cardboard from raw material packaging.
- Moves raw materials into melting equipment by pushing.
- Maintains cleanliness of the work area during and after shifts.
- Assists with Food Safety and Quality Assurance initiatives.
- Follows instructions and training related to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and food safety protocols.
- Cleans assigned areas, including mopping floors, at the end of each shift.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or equivalent.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
- Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills.
- Ability to speak, read, and understand English.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Sedentary: Lifting up to 10 pounds occasionally.
- Light: Lifting up to 20 pounds, with frequent lifting or carrying of objects up to 10 pounds; includes pushing and pulling.
- Medium: Lifting up to 50 pounds, with frequent lifting or carrying of objects up to 25 pounds.
- Heavy: Lifting up to 100 pounds, with frequent lifting or carrying of objects up to 50 pounds.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Moderate exposure to typical production-related conditions such as temperature variations, noise, dust, or fumes.
