Machine Operators – 2nd Shift (Gurnee, IL)
Schedule: Monday–Saturday
Shift: 2:45 PM – 12:00 AM
Overtime: Must be flexible to work OT as needed

A fast‑growing food manufacturing facility in Gurnee, IL is seeking reliable and motivated Machine Operators to join their 2nd shift production team. This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy hands‑on work, fast‑paced environments, and long‑term career growth in manufacturing.
Responsibilities
Set up, operate, and monitor production machinery on the manufacturing line
Adjust machine settings to maintain product quality and line efficiency
Perform routine quality checks and complete required production documentation
Ensure consistent product flow by communicating with material handlers and line staff
Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and notify maintenance when needed
Follow all GMPs, safety rules, SOPs, and food‑safety guidelines
Assist with line changeovers, cleaning, and basic equipment sanitation
Work in a fast‑paced, refrigerated or temperature‑controlled environment
Support team members to maintain production goals and minimize downtime
Requirements
Previous machine‑operation or manufacturing experience preferred
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs throughout the shift
Comfortable working in a cold or refrigerated environment
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written procedures
Reliable attendance and willingness to work overtime as needed
Ability to communicate effectively and work as part of a team

Cold/refrigerated areas depending on the production line
Standing and physical activity for the duration of the shift
Machine Operators are responsible for setting up, running, and monitoring production equipment used in high‑volume food manufacturing. This role ensures consistent product quality, efficient line performance, and adherence to all safety and food‑safety standards.
