Key Responsibilities
- Perform accurate pension benefit calculations in accordance with plan rules and formulas
- Complete repetitive, math‑focused calculations with consistency and precision
- Research and verify employment histories and participant eligibility
- Analyze participant data and resolve discrepancies or inconsistencies
- Use intermediate to advanced Excel skills to manage and process data
- Apply analytical and investigative skills to align complex work histories with pension requirements
- Provide general administrative and analytical support to the department as needed
Qualifications
- Strong mathematical skills and comfort with repetitive calculations
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities
- Ability to research, interpret, and verify data
- Previous experience in pensions, benefits administration, accounting, or a related field is preferred but not required
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage steady workloads
