Title: Quality Manager

Salary: $100,000 - $115,000/year
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 1st Shift
Position Summary
A highly skilled and strategic Quality Manager is needed to lead and optimize quality management systems. This role is responsible for ensuring the highest standards of product quality, process efficiency, and regulatory compliance across operations, contributing to excellence in industrial, IoT, medical, and aerospace sectors.
This role is fully on-site. Candidates should be proactive leaders with deep knowledge of quality principles, continuous improvement, and precision in a manufacturing environment.
Main Job Responsibilities / Functions
- Oversee the overall Quality Management System to ensure products and processes meet internal, customer, and regulatory standards (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100).
- Lead, mentor, and manage the Quality and Inspection Team to achieve goals and customer expectations.
- Review and approve engineering packets for new orders as part of cross-functional reviews.
- Develop and implement Process Control Plans and PFMEAs.
- Interact with external customers and suppliers regarding product non‑conformances, including conducting failure analysis when required.
- Initiate and manage Corrective Actions (CARs / SCARs).
- Supervise incoming inspection and first article inspection, ensuring accurate and timely generation of customer PPAP reports.
- Determine sampling plans, forms, and instructions for recording and evaluating quality and reliability trend data.
- Manage the Calibration Program, ensuring tools and equipment are calibrated at defined intervals and maintaining accurate records.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using FMEA, Six Sigma, and Lean methodologies.
- Analyze data to identify trends, resolve issues, and implement solutions to enhance quality and efficiency.
- Manage engineering projects, including scheduling based on customer requirements.
- Perform other duties as required.
Education & Experience Requirements
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical field.
- 3–5+ years of progressive quality experience with demonstrated leadership.
- Proven experience leading teams to success.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 or AS9100 Quality Management Systems.
- Experience with FMEA, Six Sigma, and Lean Manufacturing.
- Experience in engineering project management and scheduling.
Technical Acumen
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and electrical specifications.
- Strong knowledge of mathematics (arithmetic, algebra, geometry, calculus, statistics).
- Proficient in reading mechanical and electrical blueprints.
- Familiarity with CAD software.
