General Labor / Warehouse Associate – CMI Logistics (Joliet & Elwood, IL)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00am–3:00pm
Pay: $18/hr
Location: Joliet / Elwood, IL
CMI Logistics is hiring a hands‑on General Labor / Warehouse Associate to support daily operations involving metal, steel coils, and industrial equipment. This is a full‑time, long‑term opportunity with steady hours and a consistent Monday–Friday schedule.
Job Duties
Strapping and securing metal and steel coils
Securing industrial equipment onto freight
Using basic power tools such as drills, nail guns, and sledgehammers
General warehouse labor as needed
Physical Requirements
Ability to bend, squat, lift, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
Must wear steel‑toe shoes
Comfortable working around heavy materials and equipment
Requirements
Previous warehouse or general labor experience preferred
Comfortable using hand and power tools
Reliable transportation
Ability to follow safety procedures and work in a fast‑paced environment
