Job description for Customer Service/Sales Support:
- Create quotations and price lists as needed to support the outside sales function.
- Support the sales cycle through review and promotion of all elements in the pending quote files.
- Review and confirm all customer orders with respect to drawing revision levels, order quantity for production, and price break levels before order entry
- Liaise with customers or prospects as a first line of contact on matters of pricing or product availability.
- Review post-production work order sheets and propose modifications to routers when needed to improve the quality of the Production Information System.
- Review the Job Cost Report and Work Order Detail to identify and remedy production variances with respect to the standard used for pricing.
Job Requirements for Customer Service/Sales Support
- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous experience in customer service/sales support in manufacturing or transportation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Strong attention to detail
