We are hiring a Dispatcher in Taunton, MA. The Dispatcher is responsible for the timely and accurate communication of delivery route status to customers, clients, operations, and customer service teams. This role works closely with drivers, installers, warehouse staff, and schedulers to ensure successful and on‑time deliveries, issue resolution, and a high level of customer satisfaction.
Job Details the Dispatcher position:
- Location: Taunton, MA 02780
- Pay Rate: $22.25 per hour – weekly pay
- Start Date: Immediate start available
- Schedule:
- Tuesday through Saturday
- Option of four 10‑hour shifts or five 8‑hour shift
- Friday and Saturday work is mandatory
Job Responsibilities for Dispatcher position:
- Communicate with drivers and installers to ensure on‑time deliveries to Last Mile customers
- Coordinate with schedulers and warehouse teams to verify accurate staging, delivery, and freight removal
- Sort, organize, and prepare all delivery paperwork
- Operate company routing software to monitor routes and communicate updates to drivers
- Assist drivers and customers with problem solving and service recovery
- Provide excellent customer service to both internal and external stakeholders
- Communicate delivery incidents or accidents and report appropriately to Corporate Safety and Operations teams
- Notify customers and clients of cancelled or rescheduled deliveries
- Perform other duties as assigned
Job Requirements for Dispatcher position:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior dispatch experience is strongly preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Logistics, Supply Chain, Dispatching, Transportation, Engineering, or Project Management
- Working knowledge of DOT regulations and Hours‑of‑Service (HOS) requirements
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
