We are hiring Remote Collections Reps for an educational company in the Philadelphia area. Candidates need to have at least 3 years of prior 3rd party collections experience and be knowledgeable in Microsoft Excel. This position is fully remote, but you must live in the Philadelphia region.
Collections Rep Details:
Payrate: $17.50 hour
Schedule: Combination of daytime 8am-4pm and nighttime 1pm-9pm Mon- Fri shifts weekly as well as 2 Saturday mornings 8am-12pm per month
Temp-to-hire potential for a long-term position
Computer equipment provided by company
Collection Rep Responsibilities:
Make high volume outbound calls in an attempt to determine the reason for the overdue payments and to request payments
Explain the terms of the agreements and support documents
Record information about the financial status of customers and the status of collection efforts
Update collection systems to reflect action and results of each event
Collection Rep Requirements:
High school diploma or GED
3 plus years of 3rd party collection experience
Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Ability to read and interpret financial documents and produce correspondence
Effective communication skills
