Mechanical Assembler Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare chassis frame for mounting and attaching sweeper body
- Run, connect, and test all fluid and hydraulic lines
- Build and install electrical lumens, harnesses, and lighting
- Install couplings, fittings, and brackets to marry sweeper body and chassis
- Test sweeper to ensure finished product meets specifications
- Maintain shop floor, ensuring a safe and clean working environment
- Fabricate parts to meet custom builds
Mechanical Assembler Job Requirements:
- Electrical wiring and troubleshooting knowledge
- Truck chassis modification and assembly experience
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Creative problem-solving skills
- Software design knowledge (advantageous)
- Working knowledge of shop tools
- Verbal and written communication skills
- Welding and fabrication experience
- Ability to obtain a passport
- High School Diploma or equivalent
