We are hiring a Quality Control Technician for a direct hire opportunity in Newark, DE! This is an excellent chance to join a growing team and work in a hands-on laboratory environment.

As a Quality Control Technician, you will perform chemical and physical testing of SPIN disk products using lab equipment such as pH meters, analytical balances, and SPIN meters. You’ll prepare reagents, investigate product issues, and support lean initiatives while maintaining safety standards and assisting with continuous improvement efforts.

Duties & Responsibilities for a Quality Control Technician:

Handle chemicals and use volumetric glassware, analytical balances, pH meters, and SPIN meters.
Prepare standards and vats for daily SPIN disk testing.
Conduct performance tests on start-up and hourly disk samples.
Perform physical/vacuum testing on pouched disk products.
Interpret data and make reagent adjustments as needed.
Investigate customer complaints related to SPIN products.
Participate in lean activities, including kaizen events, 5-S programs, and DMAICs for continuous improvement.

Pay & Schedule a Quality Control Technician:

Starting Pay: $21/hr and up (based on experience)
Schedule: 2/2/3 rotation for better work-life balance
Shifts:
- Day: 6:30 AM – 6:45 PM
12-hour shifts, every other weekend

Qualifications & Requirements for a Quality Control Technician:

High school diploma or equivalent required; general laboratory experience preferred.
Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Excellent math and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication skills to interact with QC, R&D, and production personnel.
Must be detail-oriented and able to prioritize workload to meet deadlines.
