Labor and Employment Legal Assistant – Los Angeles, CA
A dynamic litigation law firm is seeking a full-time Legal Assistant to join its Los Angeles office. This role offers the opportunity to support a fast-paced Labor & Employment practice while working closely with attorneys on meaningful, high-impact cases.
About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced professional (3–15 years) who thrives in a collaborative, detail-driven environment. The ideal candidate will bring proven expertise in Labor & Employment law support and a strong command of State and Federal court rules and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft and edit correspondence, pleadings, and filings with State and Federal courts
- Coordinate and schedule depositions, meetings, and travel
- Maintain organized case files and attorney calendars
- Prepare research, expense reports, and time entry
- Provide general case management and administrative support
What We’re Looking For
- Solid understanding of court rules and procedures (State & Federal)
- Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and Adobe Acrobat; Juris Suite is a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to work independently while also thriving in a team environment
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $70,000 – $90,000 (commensurate with experience)

Schedule
Full-time, Monday–Friday, with occasional overtime as needed.
