POSITION TITLE: Estimator
SALARY: $29/hour depending on experience (negotiable for the right candidate)
SCHEDULE: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM (OT as needed)

A well-established custom woodworking company based in Morgantown, PA, is seeking an experienced Estimator to join their growing team. Specializing in high-quality architectural millwork and casework, the company serves both residential and commercial markets with a strong focus on craftsmanship, detail, and design excellence.

Key Responsibilities for the Estimator:
Prepare accurate cost estimates for millwork and casework projects across commercial, institutional, and high-end residential markets
Interpret project plans, blueprints, and specifications to define scope and material requirements
Collaborate with architects, designers, project managers, and clients to gather relevant project details
Use estimating software (ProjectPak preferred) to create detailed cost breakdowns
Conduct site visits when necessary to verify conditions and collect project data
Create and present bid proposals, including labor, materials, and other cost factors
Monitor budgets throughout project lifecycle, adjusting estimates as needed
Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and subcontractors to ensure competitive pricing
Review and compare quotes to ensure compliance with project specs
Support value engineering efforts to reduce costs while maintaining quality
Maintain accurate records of all estimates, proposals, and related documentation
Stay updated on industry trends, pricing, and materials
Qualifications for the Estimator:
Proven experience as an estimator in architectural millwork, casework, or a related field
Proficient with estimating software (ProjectPak strongly preferred)
Solid understanding of construction documents and specifications
Strong math, analytical, and organizational skills
High attention to detail and accuracy
Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
