Job Summary
PeopleShare is hiring a Warehouse Maintenance Assistant for a well-established manufacturing and distribution company in Romeoville, IL. This company is known for producing and distributing high-quality consumer products found in homes and retail stores nationwide. As part of their facility team, you’ll help ensure operations run efficiently through equipment upkeep, safety support, and general maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with maintenance, inspections, and minor repairs of conveyor systems and warehouse equipment
Perform basic mechanical, electrical, and plumbing work (e.g., lighting, minor leaks, equipment adjustments)
Support safety checks and ensure compliance with facility standards
Maintain and organize tools, supplies, and spare parts inventory
Assist with facility upgrades, installations, and equipment testing
Help maintain warehouse cleanliness and overall functionality
Requirements
Basic mechanical aptitude and hands-on repair experience
Ability to safely use hand and power tools
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety procedures
Reliable, organized, and able to work well with others
