Customer Service Representative Job Description:
Customer Service
- Build and maintain strong relationships with external customers.
- Communicate via email and phone with a high standard of professionalism.
- Process order changes and provide timely status updates.
Administration
- Enter customer-specific orders into the order fulfillment system.
- Create customer-specific manufacturing specs for finished goods.
- Run inventory reports and manage accounts and inventory levels.
Team Support
- Partner with production to ensure orders meet customer expectations.
- Support the sales team with customer relations and inquiries.
- Run usage reports, share specs, and provide timely support to sales requests.
Customer Service Representative Job Requirements:
- Customer service experience in a manufacturing environment is required.
- 2–3+ years of professional customer service and/or sales support.
- Intermediate knowledge of order fulfillment systems.
- Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel).
- Ability to calculate and understand formulas, commissions, measurements, and percentages.
- Strong multi-tasking skills in a busy environment; professional phone etiquette required.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience providing remote support to multiple locations is helpful (not required).
