Location: Mt. Laurel, NJ (In-Office)
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am-4:30pm
Payrate: $26.00-$28.00/hr
Job Description:
We are seeking an entry-level AR/AP Specialist to join our Finance Department. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and eager to begin their career in accounting. You will be responsible for supporting daily financial operations related to accounts receivable and accounts payable while working closely with the CFO and finance team.
Job Responsibilities
- Enter and post invoices accurately and in a timely manner
- Post payments and reconcile accounts
- Perform AR adjustments as needed
- Prepare and send invoices to customers
- Support monthly and year-end financial processes (F/Y)
- Manage and maintain daily transaction records
- Assist with salary calculations and related finance tasks
- Collaborate with internal departments to resolve discrepancies
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred but not required)
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Basic knowledge of accounting principles
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel; experience with accounting software a plus
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
