Compensation Range:$24.00 - $30.00 per hour
Location: Denver, CO 80202 (Hybrid - 3 Days a week in office)
POSITION OVERVIEW
The IT Support Specialist provides technical support to end-users which includes laptop setups, equipment shipping, and onboarding assistance. This role requires experience with Office 365, Windows OS, hardware troubleshooting, ticketing systems, and communication platforms.
The IT Support Specialist works with the Technology Operations Lead and IT team to resolve support requests, document processes, and ensure a seamless experience for staff. This is atemporary assignment of up to six months and offers an excellent opportunity to grow an IT career in a hands-on and supportive environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
70% | User Support
- Respond to help desk tickets involving login issues, password resets, software installs, hardware problems, and user access.
- Provide basic support and training for Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and Office 365 apps.
- Use Intune to push updates and deploy PowerShell scripts.
- Support phone-based tools including iPhone troubleshooting and the Dial Pad call system.
- Manage VPN, Zoom, and other communication tool support requests.
- Use Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID to manage user accounts.
- Document new and existing procedures for compliance and repeatable tasks.
- Handle support calls via the Dial Pad application, both onsite and remotely.
- Escalate complex issues to Technology Operations Lead.
30% | Hardware Support
- Set up laptops, ship equipment, and provide support for hardware such as printers.
- Assist with onboarding new hires.
- Perform hardware support such as RAM upgrades, battery replacements, and peripheral troubleshooting.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 1 year of experience with help desk ticketing systems, such as Salesforce or Zendesk.
- Experience supporting Windows OS and performing hardware troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of Office 365 troubleshooting, Exchange, and spam/phishing management.
- Proficiency in supporting Teams, SharePoint, Zoom, and VPN clients.
- Working knowledge of Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID.
- Strong communication skills and ability to provide phone-based support.
- Experience using Intune for device management and script deployment preferred.
- Familiarity with Salesforce CRM and/or Dial Pad for telephony support preferred.
- Mobile device support experience preferred.
- Exposure to onboarding and training practices for new hires preferred.
