Production Packer – Food Manufacturing
PeopleShare is hiring Production Packers for an exciting opportunity with a leading food manufacturer in Missouri City, Texas. This hands-on role is perfect for individuals who are reliable, detail-oriented, and ready to work in a fast-paced production environment.
Job Details for Production Packer
Location: On-site | Missouri City, Texas
Pay: $13.00–$14.50/hr. | Based on experience | Paid weekly
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday – Friday
1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
2nd Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
3rd Shift: 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM
Responsibilities for Production Packer
Assemble empty boxes for packing
Neatly pack 3lb or 5lb rice bags into 16- or 24-count cases
Visually inspect packaging for holes or tears
Push and move packed boxes (up to 50 lbs.) into the taper machine
Replace tape in the machine when needed
Clean and sanitize equipment and dispose of material waste
Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
May operate electric pallet jack or walkie stand-up lift
Assist with labeling, stacking, shrink-wrapping, and repackaging
Fill out production paperwork accurately
Make minor adjustments to box erecting equipment as necessary
Requirements for Production Packer
Ability to count accurately and follow instructions
Must be able to understand basic instructions in English or Spanish
Comfortable performing repetitive tasks on a production line
Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
Good visual attention for spotting defects or packaging issues
