Machine Operator 1st, 2nd and 3rd Shift – Food Manufacturing
PeopleShare is hiring Machine Operators to join our production team in Missouri City, Texas. This hands-on role is ideal for individuals with manufacturing experience and mechanical aptitude who are ready to grow in a fast-paced food production environment.
Job Details for Machine Operator
Location: On-site | Missouri City, Texas
Pay: $16.65/hr. | Paid weekly
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday – Friday
1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
2nd Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
3rd Shift: 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM
Responsibilities for Machine Operator
Operate, set up, and sanitize food processing equipment (Sauce Mixer, Toyo packaging machine, Retort cooker)
Accurately scale and mix ingredients according to recipe documentation
Move carts of product (up to 1000 lbs.) in and out of retorts
Monitor cook times, machine data, and record production logs
Perform and document quality checks and lot tracking
Follow SOPs and touchscreen controls for machinery
Report process deviations, confirm cycle parameters, and maintain compliance
Maintain a clean, organized, and GMP-compliant workstation
Support training and onboarding of new team members
Follow all safety, quality, and food handling procedures
Requirements for Machine Operator
High School Diploma or GED
Previous manufacturing experience required (food industry preferred)
Mechanical aptitude and ability to use computer systems
Able to follow instructions, multitask, and work independently
Must be dependable with strong communication and time management skills
Physically capable of lifting, pushing, and pulling (up to 1000 lbs. carts, 50 lbs. items)
Willing to work any shift and maintain good attendance
