Job Description
Oversee and analyze accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with all regulatory requirements. Provide leadership, strategic guidance, and technical expertise to the Accounting team while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Direct and support daily operations of the Accounting department.
- Apply advanced technical accounting expertise in fixed assets, lease accounting, cost accounting, freight, cash management, and other key areas.
- Lead, develop, and mentor the Accounting team, promoting professional growth and high performance.
- Manage month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
- Maintain and enhance internal controls, driving continuous process improvements.
- Oversee the preparation and consolidation of financial statements for all entities.
- Manage interim and year-end financial statement audits.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to provide financial analysis and insights that support business decisions.
- Develop, document, and maintain departmental Standard Operating Procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned that are consistent with the scope and responsibilities of the role.
Supervisory Responsibilities
- Directly manages a team within the Accounting department.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (required).
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation (required).
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of accounting experience.
- At least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Experience with Oracle G/L or similar general ledger systems preferred.
- Proven track record managing month-end close processes.

- Excellent analytical abilities with a high attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective cross-department collaboration.

- Noise level typically quiet to moderate.
- On-site/in-office work required.
- Regular and reliable attendance expected.
