💰 Pay Rate: $20.50/hour
PeopleShare is seeking a Public Housing Specialist to support a dedicated housing operations team in Suffolk! This is a great opportunity for someone with strong administrative skills, excellent customer service, and a passion for helping the community.
Job Responsibilities:
Assist the Property Manager with daily operations, including scheduling, data entry, reporting, and tenant communications.
Maintain resident/participant portals, tenant files, and HUD-required documentation.
Conduct eligibility interviews, process rent reexaminations, and prepare newsletters, flyers, and other materials.
Coordinate inspections, quality control reviews, and agency events.
Requirements:
1+ year experience in housing, property management, or administrative work preferred.
Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office, data entry).
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Ability to work independently while maintaining confidentiality.
Valid driver’s license and ability to pass background and drug screening.
📅 Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8a-5p
