Overview:
As our workload continues to grow, we are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time HR Assistant to support our Human Resources department. This temporary role will focus on administrative support and recruitment efforts, helping to keep operations running smoothly during a busy period. The ideal candidate is flexible, organized, and has prior HR experience—ideally in a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform daily administrative tasks to support HR operations
- Assist with recruiting activities including job postings, screening, and interview coordination
- Support onboarding and new hire orientation processes
- Maintain and update employee records and confidential files
- Help coordinate employee engagement initiatives and events
- Assist with payroll processing and benefits administration
- Respond to employee inquiries and provide general HR support
Qualifications:
- Previous HR experience required; experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and basic HR systems
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and schedules
