Job Responsibilities:
Wire electrical components, control panels, and wire harnesses by hand
Perform soldering of connections if/as needed for electrical assemblies
Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, blueprints, B.O.M.s, and engineering specs
Assemble and wire control enclosures and electrical systems according to specifications
Use hand and power tools, including drills, wire strippers, multimeters, and other testing equipment
Lay out and route wiring with attention to neatness, safety, and compliance
Conduct basic functional tests and troubleshoot issues to ensure proper performance
Requirements:
Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience in electrical wiring, panel assembly, or a related field
Basic understanding of electrical circuits, principles, and safety procedures
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical schematics
Experience with soldering electrical components and connections
Proficient with hand and power tools such as drills, wire strippers, and multimeters
Familiarity with wire color codes, gauges, and standard wiring practices
High school diploma or GED required; technical or trade school training is a plus
OSHA 10 or 30 certification, or electrical apprenticeship/journeyman experience, preferred but not required
Reliable transportation and a track record of punctuality and dependability
