Duration: 3 month contract (possible extension or conversion to full-time)
Overview:
The Corporate Recruiter will be instrumental in identifying, attracting, and hiring top talent across various departments within our organization for USA locations. This individual will serve as a full lifecycle recruiter, owning every stage of the recruitment process from initial requisition to onboarding.
Major Responsibilities:
- Full-Cycle Recruitment: Manage the entire recruitment process from requisition to offer acceptance for corporate positions, including but not limited to:
- Sales & Marketing
- Finance & Accounting
- Supply Chain & Logistics
- Operations (non-plant specific)
- Administrative
- Strategic Sourcing: Develop and execute innovative sourcing strategies to identify and attract passive candidates, leveraging various channels such as LinkedIn Recruiter, industry specific job boards, professional networks, internal referrals and direct outreach
- Candidate Experience: Ensure a positive and engaging candidate experience throughout the entire recruitment lifecycle, from initial contact to onboarding
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate closely with hiring managers across different departments and locations to understand their staffing needs, develop accurate job descriptions, and create effective recruitment strategies
- Interviewing & Assessment: Conduct thorough phone screens and interviews to assess candidate qualifications, cultural fit, and alignment with company values. Coordinate and facilitate interviews with hiring teams. Administer online assessments and provide feedback to hiring manager based on results
- Offer Management: Extend and negotiate job offers, ensuring a smooth and timely offer process
- ATS Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records and recruitment activity within our UKG Applicant Tracking System
- Market Intelligence: Stay informed of industry trends, talent landscapes, and best practices in recruitment, particularly within the import/export, food, or related sectors
- Compliance: Ensure all recruitment activities comply with federal and state employment laws and regulations
Key Success Measures:
- Company fills open positions within 3 months of job posting and 75%+ of new hires are performing at a meets expectations level within 12 months of being hired
- There are zero non-compliance employment issues in the Company
- New hires receive onboarding relevant to their role
- Company achieves its business objectives through its people
Qualifications & Considerations for the Position:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 3-5+ years’ of progressive experience in full-cycle corporate recruitment preferably within a mid-sized multi-location manufacturing and distribution organization
- Proven ability to recruit for a wide range of roles, including specialized positions within operations, supply chain, and sales
- Strong understanding of recruitment best practices, sourcing techniques, and candidate assessment methodologies
- Knowledge of local, state, and federal employment related legislation
- Self-starter with proven experience as a valued HR resource delivering quality services and programs to employees at all levels in a timely manner
- Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups
- Ability to build rapport and trust with both candidates and hiring managers
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient computer skills (Excel, email, human resources information system, applicant tracking system, etc.)
- Proficiency with UKG Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HRIS software
