- Pay Rate: $33.00 - $43.00
Continuous Improvement Coordinator Job Description:
- Assist in the development and execution of continuous improvement initiatives aimed at increasing operational efficiency, reducing waste, and enhancing product quality.
- Work closely with various departments to identify process inefficiencies, areas for improvement, and opportunities for cost reduction.
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) on production or operational issues, identifying corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Implement Lean, Six Sigma, and other CI methodologies to enhance process flow and operational performance.
- Facilitate and participate in Kaizen events, 5S activities, value stream mapping, and other process improvement workshops.
- Assist in training team members on continuous improvement principles, tools, and techniques.
- Collaborate with maintenance, engineering, and operations teams to ensure that CI initiatives are effectively integrated into daily operations.
- Help foster a culture of continuous improvement by promoting innovation, teamwork, and problem-solving across the organization.
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of quality control systems and continuous improvement initiatives.
- This position will support both KT manufacturing facilities.
Continuous Improvement Coordinator Job Requirements:
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Continuous Improvement Coordinator or in a similar role in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Knowledge and experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or other CI methodologies.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to identify process inefficiencies and recommend improvements.
- Experience with root cause analysis, data analysis, and performance metrics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in Lean, Six Sigma, or similar CI methodologies.
- Experience with process mapping tools, such as value stream mapping (VSM) and process flow diagrams.
- Knowledge of risk management practices and tools.
- Familiarity with other industry standards or certifications, such as Six Sigma or Lean.
