Schedule: Monday-Friday, 1st and 2nd shifts available
Pay Rate: $18-$22/hour
Forklift Operator Job Description:
Operate forklifts to move, load, and unload equipment.
Wash, dry, and grind attachments to remove rust and imperfections.
Read work orders to determine necessary prep, such as removing pins or swapping parts.
Secure pallets using a metal strapping machine.
Pull and stage attachments accurately using part numbers and item codes.
Ensure all finished work is functional and ready for customers.
Load and unload dry vans and flatbed trucks as needed.
Assist with staging, machine order pulling, and small parts retrieval.
Complete paperwork accurately and on time.
Work efficiently with teammates and follow directions.
Forklift Operator Job Requirements:
3+ years of sit-down forklift experience.
Ability to work in all weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and snow.
Capable of lifting 50-75 lbs repeatedly.
Comfortable using hand and power tools.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
A self-starter who takes initiative and works well with a team.

DAY TO DAY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Driving/Moving equipment with forklifts

- Grinding rust and imperfections from attachments
- Be able to read and interpret the orders to understand what needs to be done to the attachment while in prep. (e.g., Taking pins out, swapping teeth, remove pins)
- Use critical thinking skills to problem solve and work through issues that can arise.
- Use metal strapping machine to band pallets.
- Work with teammates and demonstrate effective communication skills.
- Time management, being able to get multiple things done and completing tasks in a timely matter.
- Listen and follow directions and ALWAYS be ready to be trained on new things.
- Make sure all finished work is presentable and functional for the customers.
- Be ready to load dry vans and flatbed trucks when asked.
- Accurately pulling attachments from the yard by reading the part number/item codes.
- Filling out paperwork completely and accurately.
- Load/unload trucks when needed.
- Pulling small components from the parts department if needed.
- Help staging when needed.
