Forklift Operator Job Details:
- Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM
- On-Site
- Pay: $18-$22/hr
Forklift Operator Job Responsibilities:
- Operate sit-down forklifts to load and unload trucks and vans
- Prep equipment for shipping—washing, drying, grinding rust, swapping parts
- Use a metal strapping machine to band pallets
- Pull attachments with accuracy by reading part numbers/item codes
- Help with staging and pulling machine orders when needed
- Complete paperwork with attention to detail
- Work well with teammates and communicate effectively
- Ensure all finished work is presentable and functional for customers
Forklift Operator Job Requirements:
- 1+ year of forklift experience required
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift 50-75 lbs
- Comfortable working outdoors and in a warehouse
- Experience with hand tools or blueprints is a plus
- Strong time management and a willingness to learn
