Material Handler Job Details:
- Schedule: Monday - Friday
- Pay Rate: $110,000-$130,000/year
Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of warehouse operations across three shifts, ensuring products are received, stored, and shipped accurately and efficiently.
- Lead, motivate, and develop a team of warehouse staff to maintain a productive and positive work environment.
- Manage inventory control, order fulfillment, and product distribution while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
- Ensure safety standards and operational procedures are strictly followed to maintain a safe work environment.
- Conduct regular training sessions to ensure all team members are up-to-date on processes, equipment, and safety protocols.
- Work closely with management to implement continuous improvement initiatives aimed at optimizing warehouse efficiency and productivity.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records on inventory, shipment, and staff performance.
- Report on warehouse operations, including productivity, order fulfillment, and any issues that may arise.
- Foster clear and effective communication across all shifts and with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and operations.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems, particularly NetSuite, is highly preferred.
- Perform regular inspections and ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards.
Job Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in warehouse management, preferably in a 3-shift environment.
- Proven leadership experience with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to make quick decisions and solve problems in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Knowledge of safety practices and regulations in warehouse operations.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems (NetSuite experience is a strong plus).
- Ability to lift and move heavy items as needed.
