Job Details for Welding:
Schedule: 7:00am- 4:00pm can go longer
Pay Rate: $30.00 -$35.00
Job Responsibilities & Description for Welding:
• Welding and Fabrication:
1. Perform TIG, and Stick welding tasks for the assembly of carbon piping systems according to project requirements.
2. Interpret and work from detailed engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Material Preparation:
1. Prepare materials for welding, including cutting, grinding, and fitting.
2. Inspect materials to ensure they meet project specifications.
• Quality Assurance:
1. Conduct inspections of completed welds to ensure they meet quality standards.
2. Identify and address any defects or discrepancies in the welding process.
• Safety Compliance:
1. Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while performing welding tasks.
2. Participate in safety meetings and training sessions.
• Collaboration:
1. Work closely with the project team, including engineers and other trades, to ensure coordinated and efficient project execution.
2. Communicate effectively with team members to address any issues or challenges.
Job Requirements for Welding:
• High School Diploma or Trade School Diploma.
• Welding certification.
• Proven experience as a Carbon Pipe Welder in an industrial or construction setting.
• Proficient in various welding techniques, including TIG, and Stick welding.
• Familiarity with different materials, including carbon steel, stainless steel, and alloys.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
