Details for the CNC Machinist:
- Schedule: FLEX! Any 8 hours between 6:30am-5:00pm
- Pay Rate: $25/hr-30/hr (flex based on experience)
- Full benefits paid in full by the company after a probationary period
Job Responsibilities & Description for the CNC Machinist:
- Read blueprints and operate CNC machinery and manual mills and lathes to create small plastic parts for the automotive, aerospace, and manufacturing industries (seal rings, washers, test samples, etc)
- QA: Take precise and accurate measurements using micrometers, calipers and read/compare against blueprints to ensure it matches the job specs, calibrating machinery to make adjustment as needed
- Calibrate, program, and make adjustments to machinery to ensure product specs are accurate after manufacturing- will use mathematical ability to program specs based on blueprints
- Enter all completed production paperwork and controls plans into the WMS system and send out to customers for verifications of job completion
- Cross train into tech work (changing out parts, etc)
Job Requirements for the CNC Machinist:
- Must have advanced machine operator experience (setup, calibrations, preferably with CNC or Lathe machinery)
- Must have a thorough knowledge of reading/understanding blueprints and calibrating machinery based on required specs
- Must be highly organized and self-motivated with the ability to work independently with minimal oversight
- Must have excellent mathematical and mechanical ability
