Patient Representative Job Details:
- Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm OR 8:30am-5:00pm
- Pay Rate: $17-$18/hour *based on position*
Patient Representative Job Description:
- Assisting patients in applying for Medical Assistance
- Accurately document patient information and completing tasks in a timely manner
- Interviewing patients in a hospital or office setting to complete necessary forms.
- Verifying health insurance.
- Working with patients and/or family members, employers, banks and federal/state offices for additional information as needed
Patient Representative Job Requirements:
- Bilingual Preferred (English/Spanish)
- Excellent interpersonal skills both written and verbal
- Must have past customer service experience
- Working knowledge of Microsoft applications: Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Detail oriented, strong problem solver, and ability to work both independently and with team members.
- Must be willing to travel to different client location(s) for coverage purposes as needed; must have reliable vehicle and valid driver's license/car insurance. Reimbursement for travel expenses is provided.
