Account Specialist Job Details:
- Schedule: 8 AM - 5 PM, Monday to Friday
- Pay Rate: $22/hr
- Full-Time Position
Account Specialist Job Description:
- Maintain communication between customers and the sales team to process purchase orders.
- Enter relevant data into the company's procurement or accounting systems, including item descriptions, quantities, prices, and delivery dates.
- Communicate with vendors to ensure timely delivery of goods or services.
- Track the status of purchase orders, monitor deliveries, and follow up with vendors to resolve any issues or delays.
- Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, invoices, and related documentation for auditing and accounting purposes.
- Assist in managing inventory levels by tracking stock levels and reorder points.
- Independently manage projects from initiation to completion, collaborating with diverse teams to meet company objectives.
- Quickly address urgent customer needs, serving as a bridge between departments.
- Lead problem-solving efforts and establish standardized processes for continuous improvement.
- Extract and analyze data from internal systems to support sales management.
- Assist in maintaining accurate customer documentation within internal systems.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Manage a constant volume of work, stay focused, and efficiently keep projects, emails, and tasks progressing through varying stages of completion.
Account Specialist Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Experience with Salesforce, D365, Supply Chain, Transportation, and Order Shipping is GREAT
- Heavy attention to detail with zero error in data entry
- Call Center and Order Processing experience preferred
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate complex ideas
- Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport and establish trust with clients and internal stakeholders
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering results and driving business growth
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
