Title Clerk / Customer Servcie Representative Job Details:
- Schedule: M-F 8:30am - 5:00pm
- Pay Rate: $20 - $25 hr

Title Clerk / Customer Servcie Representative Job Description:
- Ensures customers receive, efficient and courteous attention for all contacts and transactions.
- Familiarity with procedures for handling all aspects of customer complaints or disputes. Resolves customer complaints in a friendly, courteous manner. Advises the Office Manager of all serious complaints or incidences.
- Resolves arbitration differences in a polite and distinct manner ensuring each customer is aware of sale regulations.
- Recommends new customer services and procedures to the Office Manager.
- Maintains a good flow of communication with management and office personnel.
- Ensures proper follow-through on all directives, bulletins, schedules and accounting from the Office Manager or other corporate sources.
- Understands and enforces the auction's arbitration policies and procedures.
- Performs customer arbitration transactions in a prompt and courteous manner.
- Researches and recommends options and resolutions to the General Manager regarding all post-sale issues (example: mechanical repairs, transportation costs, etc.).
- Communicates all final decisions to the customer and coordinates the post-sale process.
- Coordinates third-party inspections and performs proper recordkeeping.
- Practices proper loss prevention and reaction procedures in accordance with policy.
Title Clerk / Customer Servcie Representative Job Requirements:
- Six to eight years of clerical experience.
- Two to four years of automotive industry experience.
- Notary designation preferred.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Ability to work in a high performance, fast-paced team environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Maintain a professional appearance with a positive attitude.
- Maintain a reliable and dependable attendance record.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, with aptitude to learn new software and systems.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
