Job Details for CNC Operator:
- Schedule: 2nd shift - 2:00 pm-10:00 pm, OR 3rd shift - 10:00 pm-6:00 am (some weekend overtime may be required)
- Pay Rate: $20-23/hr (depending on experience)
Job Responsibilities & Description for CNC Operator:
- Set up and operate CNC machines based on job specifications and blueprints.
- Load materials into the machine and secure them properly for the machining process.
- Monitor machine operations and make necessary adjustments to ensure product quality.
- Interpret and understand technical drawings, ensuring compliance with design specifications.
- Conduct routine maintenance on CNC machines and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
- Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet established standards.
- Collaborate with team members, including engineers and quality control personnel.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Document and record production data, including any issues or deviations.
- Continuously strive for process improvement and efficiency.
Job Requirements for CNC Operator:
- Previous experience as a CNC Operator or similar role.
- Proficiency in reading technical drawings and blueprints.
- Knowledge of CNC machine setup, operation, and maintenance.
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Adherence to safety regulations and protocols.
