Description:
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Technician II to join our team! The QA Tech II will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and quality of our products through meticulous inspection, testing, and analysis. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where your expertise will contribute to maintaining regulatory compliance and meeting customer standards.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct product and batch inspections in accordance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
- Perform analytical and microbiological testing, including ATP swabs, culture swabs, plating, and thermal process checks.
- Utilize measurement tools and testing equipment to set up and implement inspection programs.
- Coordinate with third-party inspection services, laboratories, and suppliers.
- Generate Certificate of Analysis (COA) and other necessary documentation for outgoing shipments.
- Participate in new product development and process improvement teams.
- Utilize statistical tools and problem-solving techniques to drive solutions in production and laboratory environments.
- Develop and maintain Quality Systems documentation.
Qualifications:
- Associate's Degree in Biology, Mathematics, Statistics, or related technical field OR five years of quality production and lab experience.
- Certified Quality Technician (CQT) certification or significant analytical test experience.
- Experience working in a GFSI certified facility.
- HACCP certification or similar, including PCQI and Better Process School.
- Proficiency in quality measurement equipment and statistical problem-solving.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to train others in quality measurement, testing, and systems application.
