Remote Manager, Contracts & Risk Management Job Details:

Schedule: Monday - Friday | Full-time, Exempt
Pay Range: $102,470.38 - $119,865.92/year
Status: Full-time
Location: Remote (excluding CA, AZ, NY, AK, HI, MT, VT)
Department: Finance & Administration
Reports to: Director, Finance & Administration

Remote Manager, Contracts & Risk Management Job Description:

Lead negotiation and execution of contracts for programs, vendors, and government entities
Manage a centralized system to track contractual obligations, terms, renewals, and compliance
Assess and mitigate organizational risks across legal, financial, and operational domains
Collaborate with internal teams to align contracts with standards and regulations
Improve and maintain contract and risk management processes and documentation
Provide practical guidance on contract issues, compliance, and risk-aware practices
Coordinate with external legal counsel as needed and support audit preparation
Monitor regulatory changes and industry trends affecting contracts and organizational risk

Remote Manager, Contracts & Risk Management Job Requirements:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, law, finance, public administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years in contract or risk management
- Proven success managing full contract lifecycle and regulatory compliance
- Experience with government and vendor agreements
- Supervisory experience with demonstrated team development
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and legal interpretation skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting
- Preferred: Professional certification (e.g., CPCM, CRM), Salesforce experience, HIPAA/BAA familiarity
- Ability to travel up to 10% annually
