Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled HR Generalist to join a manufacturing team in Hamburg, PA. The Senior Human Resource Generalist is responsible for performing HR-related duties on a
professional level and works closely with management providing support in various human resource functions, including recruiting, onboarding, staffing, data analysis, benefits administration, and
investigations.
POSITION TITLE: HR Generalist
SALARY: $70,000 - $95,000
BONUS/COMMISSION (EXACT STRUCTURE): 10% Annual Bonus
FEE:25% hybrid billing
JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide prompt, professional, and courteous customer service to employees and management, answering questions, handing out forms and assisting in finding information.
- Ability to work independently with little supervision and remain on task.
- Manage the recruitment and selection process.
- Perform background checks required by the company. Organize and manage new employee orientation, on-boarding, and training programs.
- Conduct and assist with employment verifications, Unemployment paperwork and other employment verification requests.
- Handling complaints and disciplinary procedures for the company.
- Maintains changes in benefit plans and organizes employee benefit data.
- Explain and provide information on employee benefits, programs, and education. May also advise on benefit needs or evaluate benefit contract bids.
- Answer employee questions and addresses employee concerns with company; including employee safety, welfare, wellness and health.
- Checking timesheets for accuracy, make adjustments in pay for raises and bonuses, handling direct deposit requests and data and entering data into databases and spreadsheets.
- Update job requirements when needed.
- Represent employer in community and recruiting events.
- Provided bilingual interpretation in Spanish and English.
- Experience with Paylocity
- Follow Good Manufacturing Practices.
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures, complying with legal codes and regulations.
- Report any Animal Welfare related issues to management immediately.
- Report any Food Safety related issues to management immediately.
- Report any damage to company equipment to management immediately.
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance as scheduled.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures.
- Completes other duties as assigned
